Eric Roch is author of the SOA
Blog. During his more than 25 years of experience
in Information Technology, Eric has worked in roles
such as executive level management, technical architect,
and software development in top tier technology organizations
including TIBCO
Software (Director of Professional Services) and
Deloitte
Consulting. Recently, Eric served as CTO of a
pure-play SOA consultancy and is currently Chief Technologist
at Perficient
Inc where he leads their national SOA Practice.
Eric's previous experience includes strategic planning
and commercialization of methodologies and software,
as well as technical architecture for multi-platform
application and systems integration at organizations.
As an IT industry speaker and author, Eric has been
invited to speak at numerous industry events and written
for leading industry publications. In the SOA
Blog Eric shares his insight on SOA news, software,
architecture, and implementation. Eric earned his
Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems from City
University of Bellevue, Washington, and Master of
Science in Management of Technology from the University
